Vice President Brian Stasiewich interviewed by Montana television station regarding Rig Mats of America’s Choice of Billings Montana for their Manufacturing Facility

August 10, 2012

Brian and his family moved from Canada to Billings this summer set up Rig Mats of America manufacturing because it’s closer to the Bakken and other American oil hubs than his home in Northern Alberta.

“It cuts down our trucking so it makes us more competitive, as well, and if we’re going to be selling primarily into the U.S., we might as well build in the U.S, stated Stasiewich.”

“We specialize in rig matting for the oil patch which consists of portable roadway systems, steel-framed platforms that the drilling rigs sit on, and environmental access pads so there’s less gravel and dirt used,” Stasiewich continued in the interview.

Real estate researcher Howard Sumner said the Stasiewich family is following a trend, as many are moving to the Magic City for oil-related business.
